Do you have a shop I can visit?
Creative Costumes is an online store. We don’t have a showroom where you can browse our products, but you’re welcome to place an order online and collect it from our Oakleigh warehouse.
To use Click & Collect, choose the pickup option at checkout. Orders are usually ready within one hour. We’ll send you a text when your order is ready. Please wait for this notification before coming to the warehouse.
Orders for delivery placed before 2pm Melbourne time on Victorian business days are dispatched the same day.
What are your Opening Hours?
Monday–Friday: 9:00am–4:30pm
Saturday: 10:00am–3:00pm
Sunday: Closed
How do I choose the right size?
Like fashion brands, each costume brand can fit a little differently. To choose your size please use the sizing guide provided for each costume. We recommend comparing measurements as this is the most accurate way to find a size that will be just right for you.
Can I get a refund if the costume is not suitable?
Yes. Eligible items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days, provided they meet the conditions in our Returns & Exchanges information below.
How can I pay?
Creative Costumes accepts Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Available payment options may vary depending on your device and browser.
Click & Collect orders can also be paid by EFTPOS when collecting from our Oakleigh warehouse if arranged with us in advance. Please call us before coming in so we can have your order ready.
How do I track my order?
When your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email from Australia Post with a tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Tracking may not update until Australia Post scans the parcel, which can be later that day or the following business day, so don’t worry if information is not available immediately.
When will my order arrive?
Express Post generally takes 1-2 business days to most metropolitan areas outside WA and NT, 2-4 business days to metropolitan WA and NT, and 3-5 business days to many regional areas. Remote locations may take longer. Standard Parcel Post generally takes 2-8 business days, depending on your location.
Deliveries do not normally require a signature, so consider using a workplace address if you do not want your parcel left unattended. See our Shipping Information below for more detail.

Shipping Information
We offer Standard and Express delivery across Australia using Australia Post. Free Standard delivery is available for orders over $99. Orders placed before 2pm Melbourne time are dispatched the same business day on Victorian business days. Larger orders (over $500) may require additional processing time – Email us at sales@creativecostumes.com.au or Call us on 03 9533 6393 if you have any concerns.
Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected and your location. Express Post generally takes 1-2 business days for VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS and ACT, 2-4 business days for WA, and 3-4 business days for NT. Standard Parcel Post generally takes 2-8 business days, depending on your location. These estimates apply to addresses within the Australia Post delivery network and may change during busy periods.
Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll email you an Australia Post tracking number. Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected and your location.

Free Standard Shipping for Orders over $99
Orders over $99 qualify for free Standard delivery via Australia Post Parcel Post. Express delivery is not included.
Returns & Exchanges Information
We want you to love your costume! If something isn’t quite right, here’s what you need to know:
- 14-day return window: Returns or exchanges must be requested within 14 days of purchase and approved via email before sending anything back.
- Item condition: Items must be unworn, unused, in original packaging with all tags attached, and in a clean, resellable condition. Trying items on is fine.
- Non-returnable items: For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used hosiery, wigs, cosmetics, lashes, contact lenses, facial hair, prosthetics, and similar items cannot be returned. Sale/clearance items and special orders are final sale.
- Refunds: Refunds apply to the item cost only. Original postage is non-refundable. You can request one of our prepaid return labels, the cost ($9–$15) will be deducted from your refund.
- Return postage: Customers cover return postage for change-of-mind returns. If an item is faulty or incorrect, we’ll assess the issue and may provide a prepaid return label.
- Faulty or incorrect items: Please contact us within 14 days with photos so we can resolve the issue quickly.
- Click & Collect: Orders must be collected within 14 days. If you notify us within this time, a full refund applies. After 14 days without contact, a 10% restocking fee applies.
- Peak periods: Our standard 14-day policy still applies during busy seasons like Halloween and Book Week.
